3 August Bond weekend in Stockholm (Sept 19-21) will include a special screening of "Licence to Kill", which celebrates the 25th anniversary this year. 10 July "Penny Dreadful" wrapped its first season much as it began, with ratings almost identical for its finale and its premiere. The June 29 season finale scored 856,000 viewers in its initial viewing at 10/9c, which was just shy of the series premiere's 872,000. In total viewers for the night, including additional viewings at 10/9c and 11/10c, "Penny Dreadful" took in 1.27 million total viewers.
12 June On June 11 Timothy Dalton attended a premiere performance of "The Last Confession" (starring David Suchet) at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

13 May The London premiere of "Penny Dreadful" took place yesterday along with a photocall at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
12 May "Penny Dreadful" debuted to 1.44 million total viewers, topping the series premieres of "Homeland" and "Masters of Sex". That figure does not include the 900,000 who watched the premiere early via Showtime On Demand and the network’s app, where the episode was made available two weeks prior to its debut.

26 April IMDb.com has posted initial listing for all eight episodes of "Penny Dreaful", including titles of the first three episodes. "Night Work" (ep.#1) airs on May 11, "Seance" (ep.#2) - May 18, "Resurrection" (ep.#3) - May 25. The following episodes will air on June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. In several cities special screenings of "Penny Dreadful" are also planned for May.

18 Jan Timothy Dalton will once again reprise the role Mr. Pricklepants in the upcoming "Toy Story" Xmas special "Toy Story That Time Forgot", which is due later this year on ABC. The previous special, Halloween-themed "Toy Story of Terror," was a big hit which drew 10.5 million viewers.
16 Jan It has just been announced that "Penny Dreadful" will debut on Showtime on Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m. Timothy Dalton also features briefly in a new trailer for the show available at Sneek Peak, along other promotional videos.

30 August According to Cosmic Book News, Zack Snyder, director of the upcoming "Superman vs. Batman" movie, is "eyeing Timothy Dalton for the role of Alfred." CBN writes that Snyder, and to an extent David Goyer, have ideas for the major supporting cast members already. Timothy Dalton is being looked at for a different take on Alfred Pennyworth as an example of something that is being thrown about. The information is, however, by no means official.

Another former Bond actor George Lazenby was also among guests which gave a rare opportunity to see two ex-007s posing for pictures.
9 Feb The Birmingham Rep celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Famous names who have performed there pay tribute to the venue, including Timothy Dalton, who said: "I made my professional debut at the Old Rep in Station Street and have the fondest memories." In 1967 Rep's new Artistic Director Peter Dews directed a modern Carnaby Street-style "As You Like It" with Brian Cox, Timothy Dalton and Oliver Ford-Davies in the cast.

"PENNY DREADFUL" - TV series, 2014
"Penny Dreadful" is Showtime's eight-episode "literary horror" series penned by film vet John Logan ("Gladiator", "Skyfall") and co-produced by Sam Mendes. The first two episodes of the series were be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona ("The Orphanage", "The Impossible").
Featuring Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, Dorian Gray and iconic figures from the "Dracula" novel, "Penny Dreadful" has been lauded by Showtime boss David Nevins as "smart and psychological, but we're not going to be gentle with the horror. I think it's going to scare the s–t out of people."
Dalton plays a recurring character of Sir Malcolm Murray, a hardened African explorer on a deeply personal quest. The series also stars Josh Hartnett ("The Faculty"), as an American "fake cowboy" who enchants the ladies of Victorian era London, and Eva Green ("Camelot"). "Penny Dreadful" was filmed entirely in Dublin, Ireland from October 2013 to March 2014. The series debuted in the USA on Showtime on May 11, 2014, and on May 20 on Sky Atlantic in the UK. In other coutries it will presumably be shown on HBO.

"TOY STORY OF TERROR" - TV special, 2013
"Toy Story of Terror" is a 30-minute special that reunites the original voice cast from the "Toy Story" franchise. The film follows the adventures of the toys post-"Toy Story 3", in which a fun road trip takes a very unexpected turn. The film has horror feel after one of the toys goes missing at the motel. The rest of the gang finds themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate. That said, the producers took inspiration from the horror genre - "Psycho", "Aliens" and "Predator", in particular - but found the right balance for both adults and children.
While "Toy Story of Terror" includes Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles) and Rex (Wallace Shawn), Jessie (Joan Cusack) has a more prominent role in the special. Additionally, Bonnie's toys - Mr. Pricklepants (Timothy Dalton) and Trixie (Kristen Schaal) - who first appeared in the third installment, are featured, while we also get to actually meet Combat Carl, who briefly appeared in the first film when he was blown up by Sid, who is voiced by Carl Weathers.
The film premiered on October 16, 2013 on ABC. It was a big hit which drew 10.5 million viewers.
"SECRET OF THE WINGS"
- Disney Fairies adventure with Dalton voicing Lord Milori
The picture is a fourth segment in Disney's "Tinker Bell" series of animated feature films. It was directed by Roberts Gannaway and Peggy Holmes. "Secret of the Wings" (formely "Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods") features a new character of Lord Milori which is voiced by Timothy Dalton. The voice cast also includes Mae Whitman, Anjelica Huston, Lucy Liu and Jane Horrocks.
In several countries the film opened in theatres. In the US it was first screened at El Captain Theatre in Hollywood from August 31 to September 13, 2012, and in October it was released on DVD/B-R. On October 20, 2012 a premiere reception was held at Rockefeller Center in New York City with a principal cast in attendance, including Timothy Dalton.

"TOY STORY THAT TIME FORGOT" - TV special, 2014
A new Christmas-themed "Toy Story" special. During a post-Christmas play date, the "Toy Story" gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It's all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie's room.
Reprising their roles for the special are Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Kristen Schaal as Trixie, Wallace Shawn as Rex, Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, and Joan Cusack as Jessie. Kevin McKidd is also onboard to play a new character named Reptillus Maximus.
Steve Purcell ("Brave") is directing the short which is set to premiere on ABC on Dec 2, 2014.
"IVAN THE FOOL" - animated feature, due in 2017According to IMDb.com, Timothy Dalton is rumoured to have been cast as the Devil in "Ivan the Fool", based on Lev Tolstoy's short story. Its plot is about the struggles of three brothers and a sister with the Old Devil. The film will mix animation with live acting, and will be directed by Sylvian Chomet and Thais Sher. Provisional cast also includes Vanessa Redgrave, Michael Gambon and Ed Stoppard. The film is due in 2017.
